John Cratchley The reason I like Jonas' loop recordings (all three releases) are twofold: firstly, they are simply costructed and you can hear the way this is done and secondly, they are very honest pieces and this makes them interesting and charming. You can hear his confidence growing as he learns what is achievable.

about

"Loops" consists of 10 instrumental songs build up by a basic loop while constantly layering new parts on top of it. With the exception of Agitate, which features a drum pattern, and Poly, which features a lap steel guitar, all songs were entirely recorded with one guitar. Over the course of the creating process, the style developed from very loose improvisations to more elaborately composed songs.
